How does an insect neutralizing device work?

These insect control devices use ultraviolet (UV) light to attract flying insects and neutralize them, either through an electrified grid or a sticky surface. The UV tubes emit light waves in the 350–368 nm range, which are especially appealing to many types of insects. This UV light is similar in effect to natural sunlight, so insects instinctively recognize it as a point of orientation. Since insects are naturally drawn to sources of light and heat, they approach the device and are then neutralized—without the use of chemicals.

Why are insect control devices important?

Insect control devices are important because they help maintain hygiene, protect people, and keep spaces comfortable. Flying insects can carry bacteria and contaminate food, especially in restaurants, kitchens, and the food industry. Their presence can also be unpleasant for guests and staff. Insect control devices reduce the number of unwanted insects in an effective and hygienic way, often without the use of chemicals, contributing to a safer and cleaner environment.

What is infrared heating?

Infrared heating works by emitting infrared waves that directly warm objects, surfaces, and people in a room, similar to the warmth of the sun but without any UV radiation. Unlike traditional heaters that heat the air, infrared panels transfer heat directly to whatever is in front of them, so the warmth is felt faster and more efficiently. This type of heating provides comfortable and natural warmth, reduces energy consumption since there is minimal heat loss, and does not stir up dust or dry out the air, making it suitable for people with asthma or allergies. Walls and objects absorb the heat and release it gradually, preventing cold spots in the room. The panels operate completely silently and are easy to install on walls or ceilings without taking up any floor space, offering both practicality and comfort.
